Three Korean representatives from the Cheongju Interanational Craft Biennale will be in Calgary from April 25 to 27. Representatives from the SCC will be there to discuss Canada’s participation (October 2009) in this huge and prestigious event.

Here’s how it’s shaping up so far
• There will be a major pan-Canadian exhibition organized by the Canadian Craft Federation.
• Regional groups, media organizations, and others will be invited to submit proposals for companion exhibitions;
• Craft councils, commercial galleries, or individuals will have the opportunity for marketing exhibitions; and
• Canadians will be invited for demonstrations and symposiums.

We’ll have much more detailed information about how this all will work after the visit by the Korean delegation. Stay tuned.
