Urgently needed! Ticket sales and volunteers.
If you can spare a bit of time and have a whole lot of interest in spending the day surrounded by Fine Craft in a fast-paced environment-- WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. Please call Amanda at 653.3616 ext. 0, saskcraftcouncil@sasktel.net or contact Chris at 653.3616 ext 23, if you'd like to volunteer on Feb 7 in Saskatoon or on Feb 21 in Regina. All reports hail last year's Fine Craft Auction was a terrific event. Please come and be a part of this wonderful evening.
Your help is needed for: event set-up, ticket collection, door prizes, registration, goblet sales, assisting Auctioneer, packing sold items, post clean-up. We also need volunteers to sell tickets in both Saskatoon and Regina.

The SCC Fine Craft Auctions will be in Saskatoon, Thursday, Feb 7 at the Sheraton Cavalier and in Regina on Thursday, Feb 21 at the Delta Regina Hotel. Viewing begins at 5pm and bidding starts at 7pm. Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, live music and fine wine while viewing and bidding. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by calling Amanda (653.3616 (ext. 0), e-mailing to saskcraftcouncil@sasktel.net or dropping by the gallery.

Studio Fellowship - DEADLINE: FEB 15th, 2008
Vermont Studio Center is an international artists and writers residency program in Johnson, VT, USA, offering year-round 2-12 week independent residencies. Residents receive private studios, rooms and 3 meals daily, plus access to prominent Visiting Artists offering slide talks and studio visits. VSC's residency format also provides a year-round roster of Visiting Artists and Writers per month (2 painters, 2 sculptors and 2 writers) who offer slide talks/readings and individual studio visits with Residents.

ParkArt 2008 • Call for Entries
ParkArt is one of the finest art and craft sales in Saskatchewan. ParkArt can accommodate 10' by 10' booths outside in Crescent Park. ParkArt 2008 takes place on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, 10am to 4pm. Deadline/Program Changes to the Artist in Residence Grant Program
A new year brings exciting changes for the Artist in Residence Grant program (AIR). The program is being redesigned to build on past successes, expand diversity and ensure accessibility for both artists and the people of Saskatchewan. $5,000 (first time Development Phase) and $35,000 for Residencies and Residency renewals.
Only Development Phase applications will be accepted at the February 4, 2008 deadline.
