“I was always interested in different kinds of art but was never any good at drawing or painting. When I took a course on how to make acoustic guitars and realized that I had some talent in wood and other three dimensional media, I started taking workshops on many different things. In about 97, I took a pottery course at Art Gallery of Swift Current, was bitten by the pottery bug, so bought my own wheel and kiln and got into it in a fairly large way. Making more piece s than I had relatives, I had to start selling some of it or build onto my house, so 13 years and 10 000 pieces later, pottery has become a major part of my life, and is still very enjoyable.”
