Anna Lindsay MacDonald
MacDonald earned her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Studio, Designed Objects (2009), and her BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing from NSCAD University. MacDonald is a former Harbourfront Centre artist-in-residence (2004-2007).
Among her notable publications are, Metalsmith Magazine (winter, 2007) and 500 Rings curated by Bruce Metcalf and 500 Bracelets, edited by Martha Le Van. She has exhibited throughout Canada and internationally, most recently as a finalist in the Love Lace exhibition, The Powerhouse Museum in Australia, curated by Lindie Ward.
Since graduating, MacDonald continues to contribute to Canadian contemporary jewellery through her studio practice, and by educating emerging designers and metalsmiths.
