Born in Billings, Montana, in 1963, Clark relocated north to Saskatchewan, where he now lives. He has been working creatively with photography, metal and glass for over 25 years. His hot shop displays his new and innovative equipment. Clark studied glass sculpture with Scott Darlington from 2003 to 2005. Clark helped with the pre-session at the Pilchuk Glass School from 1999 to 2002, assisting and building equipment. Most recently, he has acted as Metal and Wood Shop Coordinator at that school during sessions from 2004 to 2009. Clark and his wife Jacqueline Berting run Berting Glass Ltd, a thriving glass business with a showroom and workshop on their acreage near Cupar.
“I find myself at the beginning of every day electrified by what new concept, new design and new creation will take hold. Inventing and creating is what I thrive on. I love to think, do, and understand everything,” says Clark of his work.
