Connie Chaplin is a textile artist and potter focused on processes rooted in materials and forces with nature. She uses techniques drawn from intercultural craft traditions, refreshing age-old methods with botanical dyeing, indigo, batik, and shibori techniques.
Connie creates at her studio and gallery Hansen-Ross House in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, where she forages leaves and flora for her natural dye processes. Connie also enjoys travelling and taking workshops globally so she can continue expanding her knowledge and experience.
