Katriona Mitchell

Katriona Mitchell creates original acrylic landscape paintings, taking an impressionistic and sometimes abstract view. She focuses on the beauty of the prairie as well as the northern Boreal forest with an emphasis on trees.

Katriona was born and raised in Saskatoon. She spent her childhood enjoying northern Saskatchewan and all it has to offer. She developed a love of nature, especially birds, and enjoys both spending time in nature and expressing its beauty through paint and photography.

When she isn’t painting with her friends, you can find her at the kitchen table, creating art with her three kids or playing board games as a family. She is also an avid fitness lover, teaching fitness classes and lifting heavy things then putting them down again at the gym.
