With a career working in recycling programs, I have always looked for ways to create a second life from previously loved materials. With what started as a desire to reuse turned hobby, I fell in love with incorporating artwork from the past (in the beautiful silver and copper plates) to create renewed pieces. My jewellery is often sterling silver or copper cut directly from the serving plates, sometimes finished with enameled coatings, to add colour and preserve the piece, and sometimes incorporating shots of colour from anodized titanium pieces.
