Lanna Newman

Lanna is a self-taught, artist from Saskatchewan. Her journey with chalk carving began in 1979, and throughout the many stages of her life, it has remained a source of solace and a positive creative outlet. She is proud of her work and now feels ready to share it with others.

Lanna hand-carves and colours pieces of blackboard chalk, sidewalk chalk, and various other sizes of chalk. Each piece is an original, miniature carving featuring a unique scene.
