Michelle Markatos

Michelle Markatos is a visual artist in Regina, Saskatchewan. She has a BFA in Film and Video Production from the University of Regina, and is currently working towards a Baccalaureate in Ceramics. Her approach to clay is similar to her approach to and love for documentary film; allowing the story to reveal itself in an authentic, pure style. She works intuitively with porcelain with a strong emphasis on form that allows the artwork to speak in a subtle way.
