Oleksandr (Alex) Liashenko
he/him
Alex is an airbrush and oil paint artist, digital creator, and metal fabricator. Born in the former USSR and originally from Ukraine, he moved to Canada in 2013 in search of new opportunities and a life closer to nature. A passionate outdoorsman, Alex finds inspiration in lakes, fishing, and the sense of freedom that comes with the wild.
In 2021, what began as a personal project—a wooden map of Peck Lake, the first lake he fished in Canada—sparked the creation of a home-based craft business. Using airbrushing techniques and precision laser-cut woodwork, Alex now handcrafts custom layered lake maps, framed and built using components from trusted Canadian suppliers. His growing library includes nearly 150 lakes across the country.
