Saskatoon Potters Guild

The Saskatoon Potters Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1962 by a group of people interested in pottery. The Guild is located in the Albert Community Centre in the Nutana area of Saskatoon.

The purpose of the Guild is to:

  1. maintain an active association of potters for the encouragement of quality craft
  2. provide education experiences for the members through workshops, inservices  and juried exhibitions
  3. maintain a fully equipped studio for working members and provide a common meeting place for all members
  4. promote pottery in the community through classes, exhibitions and sales

The Guild operates a co-operative under the guidance of an Executive Committee. Other committees include: archives, class coordination, education, exhibitions, media, membership, raku, sales.
