Lunar Lore Reception

The opening reception will be held at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery on February 22, 2025 at 2 PM. We’ll have snacks, tea, and the artists will be in attendance to answer your questions about this stunning fine craft exhibition. Everyone is welcome and attendance is free!

Call for Jury Applicants

Jury sessions: Saskatoon (March 1, 2025) and Regina (March 29, 2025)

This is an opportunity for members holding a Professional Craftsperson Membership to have their work evaluated by expert jurors and to gain access to exclusive SCC programs, exhibitions, and fine craft markets, as well as the opportunity to sell their work locally in our shop and globally in our online store.

Multiple Ways of Weaving

November 3, 2024, 1:00-4:00 pm

Remai Modern Art Gallery, Saskatoon

This live demonstration of various forms of weaving is being held in conjunction with the Kaija Sanelma Harris: Warp & Weft exhibitions being held at the Remai Modern and the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery.

Many types of looms will be there, including a multi-shaft table loom, a floor loom, a rigid heddle loom, a Saori loom, an Inkle loom, a small notched-beam loom, etc. Come and try your hand at weaving!

Warp & Weft Reception

An opening reception will be held at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery on October 19th at 12pm, followed by a curators’ talk in Remai Modern’s Marquee Gallery at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Craft Is… a Fine Craft Show + Sale & Art Now Fine Art Fair

The Saskatchewan Craft Council is excited to announce a new market opportunity taking place in Saskatoon for 2024 and in Regina in 2025. This market will coincide with SaskGalleries Art Now Fine Art Fair at Prairieland. In addition to Craft Is, the Saskatchewan Craft Council will have our usual gallery booth on the Art Now side of the event.
