Arbie Kepler

Having been a wildlife painter, it wasn’t until 2012 that I enlisted in sculpting classes through the University Of Saskatchewan’s USCAD Program. Since that time I’ve focused solely on creating sculpture with sustainable materials in abstract form.  

I’m able to capture and define the basic power and essence of each subject and its ability to dominate the very area they inhabit. Each piece is an exploration not only with the material, but how negative space, and light influence the final outcome. Some grind, sanding, pitting even hammer marks are left making me wonder of stories the metal holds from the past.”

Over the years Kepler has been in many art shows and competitions receiving numerous awards and recognition for his paintings, mosaics and sculptures.
