Kristina Komendant

Kristina’s calligraphic-styled letters and words form the base from which most of her artwork emerges. These letters and words find their way onto her handmade and handmarbled papers and deerskin vellum as illumination artwork and within artists’ books. As a lover of verse, she explores the essence of words and strives to bring them to life in her own individual way.
