Glazed Over Pottery is a collection of my work in clay inspired by nature, our four seasons, creation, weather, movement, and fresh air. I love how nature changes, grows, decays and heals.

As I am working on the surfaces of my pieces, my hands naturally move to depict the climate of the day in both my functional and non functional work. I love creating layers of color, texture and line that come as a result of my interest in life’s many layers, secrets, emotions and revelations.

I began exploring clay around 20 years ago. I have a background in drawing and painting but always had the urge to try clay. Since I was working full time, my dates with clay were limited. Fortunately, I was able to leave full time employment and dedicate more energy to my passion.
