Winston Quan is a self-taught goldsmith who works with silver, gold alloys, copper, and brass. His unique style is obtained through varied processes such as casting, fabricated sheeting, and wire work.
Winston holds a B.A, B.Ed, and M.Sc from the University of Saskatchewan, and has been working as a professional craftsperson since 1974. He is a founding member of the Artisan’s Market Co-operative and served on the board for the Saskatchewan Craft Council as a chair, treasurer, and a member of the New Building Committee. Not only has Winston Quan’s work been available for purchase at the Handmade House on Broadway since 1978, but he has marketed with the SCC’s Saskatchewan Handcraft Festival and Wintergreen consecutively since 1976.
