I find great joy in handling the clay that is used to create my one-of-a-kind “Saskatchewan Folks.” My home is my studio. The people I see around me every day are my inspiration. The strength and good humour of the farmers and small town people of Saskatchewan are natural dancing partners for the durability and resiliency of clay.
In the past year, I have begun to explore the beauty of soapstone under the guidance of USCAD classes. Subtracting, not adding, is a new adventure for me. I look forward to the challenges of this unique medium.
