The SCC’s Dimensions is the only touring, juried, exhibition of Fine Craft open to all Saskatchewan craftspeople. Dimensions is a dynamic, colourful exhibition of 35 Fine Craft works by craftspeople from a wide variety of craft media. Both new and experienced craftspeople have a chance to be included by submitting up to two handcrafted items for jurying.
The Dimensions Jurors for 2017 are Belinda Harrow, multimedia artist from Regina and the Permanent Collection Consultant for the Saskatchewan Arts Board, and Jenna Stanton, ceramic artist and curator from Medicine Hat’s Medalta.
Multiple events will take place throughout the week of jurying, including a public viewing of all the works submitted, a Jurors’ Talk, and the Dimensions Public Critique Session. Prizes, presented at an Awards Ceremony following the jurying process, celebrate excellence in craft media as well as outstanding works of creativity and innovation in craft! Awards are presented to celebrate excellence in each craft medium as well as outstanding works of creativity and innovation.
The Call for Entry brochure is available online now, and through the SCC office. All pertinent details are included in the brochure. We hope that you will consider submitting your work to be juried.
