Cedric Delavaud

I’m Cedric Delavaud and in 2019, I created Ludoland.

 

I have a passion for woodworking, games and old stuff, and it became obvious to me that all those 3 aspects should get a special place in my life. With Ludoland, I made researches to find traditional games from all countries in the world and build them out of wood. With time, I’m tending to do more and more general woodwork, as creativity is a very important to me, and found myself limited with only game making.

Raised in France, with a dad who was a carpenter and a very artistic mother, creativity and woodworking took a very special place in my childhood. Studies and work got me away from it, but in 2019, I decided to connect again with what I use to love as child and got back to creation and woodworking. Since then, I never stopped making products out of wood for customers, while improving traditional skills and techniques to go into more traditional woodworking. I acknowledge the chances I had to have a carpenter dad who taught me a lot of things, so now, I also myself offer opportunities to kids to come in my shop to work on project and learn skills.
