Dana Mastel

Hello! Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is where you will find the home studio of Walden Sweet Textiles. Dana Mastel and Wayne Jorgenson work hard to produce repeat patterns for silkscreen prints that make their way onto functional textiles. Their designs are influenced by objects which hold memory and are familiar but not limited to being found around the home. Their functional textiles can be found in Saskatoon, at Handmade House on Broadway Avenue and at the Remai mModern Art and Design store. Recently, a new wall hanging was exhibited in a group exhibition, Rooted – 50 years of Saskatchewan Craft at the Saskatchewan Craft Council in 2022.
