Jess Alegria Ibarra (they/them) is a Saskatoon based potter focused on creating playful yet comforting functional pieces with attention to feel and form. A queer refugee settler raised in Treaty 6 Territory with roots in Central America, they seek to be informed by the properties and realities of clay itself, remembering that all clay is land, and all land is some relative’s home.
