A multimedia exhibition by Monique Martin focusing on the nest and its symbolic meanings. The artwork includes printmaking, found object sculptures, paintings and an installation in the trees along Broadway Avenue. The nest egg as a symbol of financial largesse, the nest as a home as a place to raise children, and empty nest as the moving away of grown children is explored through the exhibition. Outdoor art installation in the trees along Broadway Avenue by students of Georges Vanier Fine Arts School under the direction of Monique Martin.

The Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery is a public art gallery located on the main floor of the SCC’s building at 813 Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Hours: Monday – Saturday, 11am – 5pm

Closed Sundays and STAT Holidays

Our aim is to provide up to six exhibitions annually. Exhibitions reflect craft history and current practice.
